The 8^th Beijing International Schools’ Fencing Tournament was held with fanfare on January 20. The tournament attracted 242 young fencers from international schools in Beijing, Tianjin, etc. Beijing Kaiwen Academy sent a delegation of 40, participated all the events including Epee, Saber and Foil and presented remarkable performance. Feng Kexin, Xu Wenxin, Wang Haoxuan and Gong Siyu respectively won the championships for U8 Girls’ Epee, U10 Girls’ Foil, U12 Boys’ Epee and U16 Girls’ Epee.

The tournament demonstrated our fencers’ high spirits and superb skills; moreover, the remarkable achievement of being the second highest-ranking team has established Kaiwen Academy’s fame in the fencing circles of international schools, many of which excel in fencing, and boosted its morale. In the future, Kaiwen Fencing Team will continue to whet their skills and challenge new limit.
